aerodrome
Small aircraft facility
An aerodrome is an airfield—a place where aircraft take off and land.
The term is more common in British English and in formal or technical aviation contexts; Americans typically say airport or airfield.
An aerodrome may be smaller or less developed than a commercial airport: The flying club operates from a grass aerodrome outside town.
