autodrome
Oval racing venue
An autodrome is a racetrack designed for automobile racing, or more broadly, any venue built for motor vehicles—testing grounds, exhibition circuits, or driving courses.
The term appears more commonly in European and international contexts than in American English: The autodrome hosted the Grand Prix for thirty years.
