Red River
Scarlet flowing tributary
Red River names several rivers, most notably the one forming much of the Texas-Oklahoma border before flowing into the Atchafalaya River in Louisiana, and another flowing north through Manitoba into Lake Winnipeg.
The name comes from the reddish sediment these rivers carry.
We crossed the Red River into Oklahoma.
