Fargo

Red River city

Fargo is a city in North Dakota, the state's largest, situated on the Red River across from Moorhead, Minnesota.

The name gained wider cultural resonance from the 1996 Coen Brothers film and subsequent television series, both depicting darkly comic crime in the Upper Midwest—though the film's events actually take place mostly in Minnesota.
