RSI
Keyboard worker's ailment
RSI stands for repetitive strain injury, a category of conditions caused by repetitive motions, awkward postures, or sustained force—typically affecting the hands, wrists, and arms.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most familiar example.
RSI became widely discussed with the rise of office computing: I developed RSI from too much typing.
In finance, RSI also stands for Relative Strength Index, a technical indicator measuring the speed and magnitude of price movements to identify overbought or oversold conditions: The RSI suggests the stock is oversold.
