musculoskeletal
Bones and muscles
Musculoskeletal refers to the muscles and skeleton considered together as a system.
The term appears almost exclusively in medical contexts: musculoskeletal disorders, musculoskeletal pain, musculoskeletal injuries.
The system includes bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints—everything involved in the body's structure and movement.
