tendonitis
Overuse joint pain
Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon—the fibrous tissue connecting muscle to bone.
It typically results from repetitive motion or overuse, causing pain and tenderness near a joint: tennis elbow, swimmer's shoulder, Achilles tendonitis.
Rest and anti-inflammatory treatment usually resolve it.
Also spelled tendinitis.
