Napoleon
Exiled to Elba
Napoleon refers to Napoleon Bonaparte, the French military commander who rose to become Emperor of France in the early 19th century.
His name has become shorthand for ambitious military genius, political overreach, or someone of small stature with outsized ambition—the so-called Napoleon complex: He's got a real Napoleon complex, always trying to dominate every meeting. (Lowercase napoleon is a pastry or card game.)
