Napoleon complex
Stature-based overcompensation
Napoleon complex is the idea that short men compensate for their height with aggressive, domineering, or attention-seeking behavior.
The term references Napoleon Bonaparte, though the emperor wasn't particularly short for his era.
The concept has little scientific support but persists as folk psychology: He's got a serious Napoleon complex—always picking fights with bigger guys.
