Isaac Newton

Calculus co-inventor

Isaac Newton was an English mathematician and physicist whose work in the late seventeenth century established the foundations of classical mechanics.

His laws of motion and universal gravitation dominated scientific understanding for over two centuries.

Newton also developed calculus and made fundamental contributions to optics.

The name invokes genius itself: He's no Isaac Newton, but he's competent.
