universal gravitation
Everything pulls everything
Universal gravitation is the physical principle that all objects with mass attract each other.
First formalized by Isaac Newton, the law states that gravitational force between two bodies increases with their masses and decreases with the square of the distance between them.
This force governs planetary orbits, tides, and why things fall to the ground: Newton's law of universal gravitation explained the motion of celestial bodies.
