Suspended mountain transport

A tramway is a rail system for trams or streetcars, typically running along city streets.

The term also applies to overhead cable systems that transport people or materials across difficult terrain—a ski resort's aerial tramway, or a mining tramway carrying ore down a mountainside.

The tramway connects the old town to the hilltop castle.
