terminus
Route's last station
Terminus is the final point or end of something—especially the last station on a transportation line: The train terminates at Grand Central, the line's terminus.
A terminus can be any endpoint: the terminus of a nerve, the terminus of a glacier.
The word retains its Latin flavor and often appears in formal or technical contexts.
Plural: termini or terminuses.
