depot

Where trains wait

A depot is a storage facility or distribution center—a place where goods or vehicles are kept until needed: a bus depot, a freight depot.

In military usage, it's where supplies and equipment are stockpiled.

In American English, depot also means a train station, especially a smaller one: We waited at the depot for the 5:15.
