livery
Servant's distinctive dress
Livery originally meant the dispensing of food, provisions, or clothing to servants, and from this developed its main modern sense: a distinctive uniform or outfit worn by servants, employees, or members of an organization.
The hotel doormen wore matching livery.
By extension, livery describes any distinctive coloring or marking, including the painted designs on aircraft or vehicles identifying their operator.
A livery stable is one where horses are kept and cared for in exchange for payment, or where horses and carriages can be hired—a sense that persists in phrases like livery service for car services.
