moment
Fleeting time span
A moment is a very brief period of time—shorter than a minute, longer than an instant: Wait here a moment, I'll be with you in a moment.
The word also means a particular point in time: At that moment, everything changed.
A moment can carry weight or significance: a moment of clarity, this is not the moment for jokes.
In physics, moment refers to a turning force around a point.
