theologies
Studies of divinity
Theologies is the plural of theology, the study of religious belief and the nature of God.
Different theologies represent distinct systems of religious thought: Christian and Islamic theologies differ on the nature of Jesus.
The word often appears when comparing or contrasting religious frameworks: liberation theologies emerged in Latin America during the twentieth century.
