theological virtues
Divine grace's gifts
The theological virtues are faith, hope, and charity (or love)—three qualities in Christian doctrine that orient the soul toward God.
Unlike cardinal virtues, which can be developed through practice, theological virtues are understood as gifts from God, infused through grace.
The theological virtues are considered the foundation of Christian moral life.
