sciences

Systematic study fields

Sciences are branches of knowledge based on systematic observation, experimentation, and evidence—typically the natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and sometimes the social sciences (economics, psychology, sociology).

The term often contrasts with the arts or humanities: She's better at sciences than languages.

Someone has something down to a science when they've perfected a reliable method.
