nihilism
Philosophy rejecting meaning
Nihilism is a philosophy in which traditional values and belief are rejected and human existence is considered to be pointless.
Nihilism may also characterize attitudes that arise from such thinking, such as the idea that all established laws and institutions should be abandoned in favor of anarchy.
Nihilism has never gained any serious support; the word is typically used to criticize someone’s ideas or actions as being extreme and unworkable.
