speedway
High-velocity circuit
A speedway is a track designed for motor racing, typically an oval circuit with banked curves where cars or motorcycles compete at high speeds.
The term also refers to the sport itself: He's been into speedway since he was a kid.
In some regions, speedway names a major road built for fast traffic.
