One-wheeled bike addition
A sidecar is a one-wheeled passenger compartment attached to the side of a motorcycle.
The term extends to anything auxiliary or secondary that rides alongside something else: in computing, a sidecar process runs alongside a main application; in cocktails, a sidecar is a classic drink of cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice.
