kevlar
Stops bullets cold
Kevlar is a synthetic fiber known for exceptional strength and heat resistance, used in bulletproof vests, helmets, and other protective gear.
The material is five times stronger than steel by weight.
Though technically a brand name, kevlar often appears lowercase in general usage: The vest was lined with kevlar. (Capitalized Kevlar is the trademark.)
