Medullary means relating to or located in the medulla—the innermost part of an organ or structure.
In anatomy, it most often refers to bone marrow medullary cavity or the medulla oblongata, the lower portion of the brainstem that controls vital functions like breathing.
The tumor had invaded the medullary region of the kidney.
