familial
Of the household
Familial means relating to or characteristic of a family: familial obligations, familial bonds.
In medicine, familial describes conditions that run in families, whether genetic or not: familial hypercholesterolemia.
The word is more formal than family used as an adjective—you'd say family dinner but familial resemblance.
