Vinyl's paper sheath
An inner sleeve is the protective paper or plastic lining inside a record album jacket that holds the vinyl disc itself.
The outer jacket displays artwork and information, while the inner sleeve prevents scratches and dust contact.
Quality inner sleeves use anti-static material: I replaced all my old paper inner sleeves with polyethylene ones.
