Double-panel album sleeve
A gatefold is a large page folded to fit within a book, magazine, or album cover, designed to unfold and reveal an extended image or content.
The term comes from record albums, where gatefold sleeves opened like a gate to display artwork, lyrics, or photographs across the inner spread: The vinyl came in a gatefold with liner notes.
