shipment
Goods in transit
A shipment is a quantity of goods sent together from one place to another, typically as part of a commercial transaction.
The word covers both the act of shipping and the goods themselves: We're expecting a shipment of parts next week.
Shipments may travel by truck, rail, ship, or air, and the term applies whether the cargo fills a single box or an entire container.
When something is delayed in shipment, it hasn't yet arrived at its destination.
