line up
Arrange in order
To line up is to arrange in a row or sequence, or to take one's place in such an arrangement: The children lined up for lunch.
The phrase extends to organizing or securing things: We're lining up sponsors for the event.
A lineup is the resulting arrangement—a police lineup for identification, a batting lineup in baseball, or a schedule of performers.
