centennials
Once-a-century commemorations
Centennials are hundred-year anniversaries or celebrations marking them: The town planned festivities for its centennial.
The word also names the generation born roughly 1997–2012, also called Generation Z—those who came of age around the turn of the twenty-first century.
As an adjective, centennial describes things relating to or occurring every hundred years.
