Slack
Office messaging platform
Slack is a workplace messaging and collaboration platform that became ubiquitous in many offices during the 2010s.
It organizes communication into channels and allows file sharing, integrations with other software, and direct messaging.
The name has become somewhat generic for team chat tools: Just Slack me the details. (Lowercase slack means loose or not taut.)
