hectopascal
Atmospheric pressure measure
A hectopascal is a unit of atmospheric pressure equal to one hundred pascals.
It has largely replaced the millibar in meteorology, though the two are numerically identical: The barometric pressure is 1013 hectopascals.
Standard atmospheric pressure at sea level is approximately 1013.25 hectopascals.
