Tetons

Jackson Hole backdrop

The Tetons are a mountain range in northwestern Wyoming, part of the Rocky Mountains.

The Grand Teton, the highest peak, gives the range its name.

Grand Teton National Park preserves much of the area.

The name comes from French Canadian trappers who called the peaks *les trois tétons* (the three breasts).

We spent a week hiking in the Tetons.
