Wyoming
Yellowstone's home state
Wyoming is the least populous U.S. state, located in the Mountain West region.
It's known for Yellowstone National Park, vast open rangeland, and a rectangular shape shared only with Colorado among states.
They drove through Wyoming on their way to Montana.
The term sometimes evokes rural isolation or frontier character.
