golden hour
Photographer's favorite time
Golden hour is the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset when sunlight takes on a warm, diffused quality prized by photographers and filmmakers: We scheduled the shoot for golden hour.
The light appears softer and more flattering than harsh midday sun.
In medicine, golden hour refers to the critical first hour after traumatic injury when prompt treatment most affects survival.
