PVDF
Polyvinylidene fluoride polymer
PVDF is polyvinylidene fluoride, a thermoplastic polymer prized for its chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and piezoelectric properties.
It appears in industrial piping, chemical processing equipment, and electrical insulation.
In scientific applications, PVDF membranes are standard for protein blotting: Transfer the proteins to a PVDF membrane.
