One World Trade Center
Freedom Tower, colloquially
One World Trade Center is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, completed in 2014.
Standing 1,776 feet tall—a deliberate reference to the year of American independence—it replaced the Twin Towers destroyed in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Often called Freedom Tower, it is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
