Giza pyramids
Pharaohs' ancient monuments
The Giza pyramids are a complex of ancient Egyptian royal tombs on the Giza plateau near Cairo, built around 2500 BCE.
The three main pyramids—those of Khufu (the Great Pyramid), Khafre, and Menkaure—are among the most recognizable ancient monuments in the world.
The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure for nearly four millennia.
