Staten Island

New York borough

Staten Island is one of the five boroughs of New York City, the southernmost and least populous, separated from New Jersey by a narrow waterway.

It has a more suburban character than the other boroughs and is connected to Brooklyn by the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

The free Staten Island Ferry, linking the island to Manhattan, offers views of the Statue of Liberty.
