Oklahoma

Tulsa's home state

Oklahoma is a state in the south-central United States, bordered by Texas, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Missouri.

The name comes from Choctaw words meaning "red people." Oklahoma was Indian Territory before statehood in 1907, and today has the largest Native American population of any state.
