Tulsa

Oklahoma oil hub

Tulsa is a city in northeastern Oklahoma, the state's second-largest.

It grew wealthy from the oil industry in the early twentieth century and retains art deco architecture from that boom era.

Tulsa is also known for the 1921 race massacre in which white mobs destroyed the prosperous Black neighborhood of Greenwood, killing hundreds.
