Etruscans
Ancient Tuscany's people
The Etruscans were an ancient people who inhabited central Italy before Roman dominance, flourishing from roughly the 8th to 3rd centuries BCE.
Their civilization, centered in what is now Tuscany, significantly influenced early Roman culture, religion, and architecture.
The Etruscan language remains only partially understood.
As an adjective, Etruscan describes their artifacts, art, or culture: Etruscan tombs, Etruscan bronze work.
