Dalmatia

Croatian coastal region

Dalmatia is a historical region along the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, now largely within Croatia.

The name evokes Mediterranean coastline, ancient Roman ruins, and island-dotted waters.

Dalmatian dogs are spotted white-and-black breeds traditionally associated with the region.

We sailed the Dalmatian coast last summer.
