Dalmatian refers to the Dalmatia region along the Adriatic coast of Croatia, or to its people, culture, or language.
Dalmatian was also a Romance language spoken in the region until its extinction in the late 19th century.
Dalmatian cuisine features fresh seafood and olive oil. (Lowercase dalmatian is the spotted dog breed.)
