Crab-avocado sushi
A California roll is a type of sushi made with rice on the outside, wrapping around nori seaweed, avocado, cucumber, and imitation crab.
Created in North America rather than Japan, it became a gateway sushi for Western palates unfamiliar with raw fish: I'll just have a California roll.
