webring
Connected homepage circuit
A webring is a collection of websites linked together in a circular structure, where each site connects to the next and previous members.
Popular in the 1990s before search engines dominated, webrings helped users discover related content by theme or interest: I found this fan site through a Star Trek webring.
The format has seen nostalgic revival among hobbyist web communities.
