voice-overs
Unseen narrator's work
Voice-overs are spoken narration or commentary not accompanied by an image of the speaker.
In film and television, a voice-over might deliver a character's inner thoughts or provide background information while action unfolds on screen.
In advertising, an unseen narrator describes products.
The term also covers dubbing foreign-language dialogue: The voice-over work on that anime is terrible.
