jingle

Keys in pocket

A jingle is a short, catchy tune designed to be memorable—especially one used in advertising: I can't get that fast-food jingle out of my head.

The word also describes a light, ringing sound made by small metal objects striking together: the jingle of keys, the jingle of sleigh bells.

To jingle is to make or cause such a sound.
