revoicing
Replacing original audio
Revoicing is replacing or rerecording the vocal track of a performance.
In film and television, revoicing may substitute a different actor's voice, add dialogue in another language, or improve audio quality.
In music, revoicing means rearranging the notes of a chord—changing which instrument plays which pitch, or shifting notes to different octaves: The pianist revoiced the arrangement to give the melody more space.
