video-on-demand
Watch whenever service
Video-on-demand is a system that lets viewers watch video content whenever they choose, rather than at scheduled broadcast times.
Often abbreviated VOD.
The term covers streaming services, cable on-demand libraries, and digital rentals: I'll just watch it on demand.
